Terms of Service - Pharmacy Weight Loss Dumfries

Pharmacy Weight Loss Dumfries | GPhC Registration No. 9012511 | Last Updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of our online pharmacy weight loss clinic. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Us

Pharmacy Weight Loss Dumfries is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy (Registration No. 9012511) providing weight management services to patients in Dumfries and the surrounding area. We operate in full compliance with General Pharmaceutical Council regulations and all applicable UK pharmacy legislation.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be aged 18 or over, a resident of the United Kingdom, and able to provide accurate medical information during our consultation process.

You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must not have any contraindicated medical conditions as identified during your consultation. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where we determine it is clinically inappropriate to proceed.

All patients must complete a full online consultation honestly and accurately. Providing false or misleading medical information may put your health at risk and may constitute a criminal offence.

3. Prescriptions and Clinical Decisions

All prescriptions issued through our service are provided only following a clinical assessment by a qualified prescriber. Our pharmacist reviews all consultations and retains the right to decline any prescription request at their sole clinical discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.

Prescriptions are valid for the period stated on the document and cannot be transferred to another pharmacy without written authorisation. We do not issue repeat prescriptions automatically; each renewal requires a fresh consultation.

Weight loss medications supplied through our clinic are prescription-only medicines (POMs) regulated under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012. They must be used strictly as directed.

4. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept all major debit and credit cards. All transactions are processed securely through our encrypted payment provider.

Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable. Consultation fees, where charged, are non-refundable once the clinical assessment has been completed, regardless of whether a prescription is issued.

We reserve the right to amend our pricing at any time. Any changes will be displayed clearly on our website prior to taking effect.

5. Delivery

Approved orders are dispatched within one working day of pharmacist approval. Deliveries are made via a tracked, discreet courier service. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

Delivery is available to UK addresses only. You must ensure someone is available to receive temperature-sensitive or signature-required items. Failed deliveries that result in medicines being compromised cannot be replaced free of charge.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your order before it has been approved by our pharmacist for a full refund of the medication cost. Once approved and dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled and medicines cannot be returned or refunded, in accordance with UK medicines legislation and for patient safety reasons.

If your order is declined by our pharmacist, any medication payment will be refunded in full within 5 working days. Consultation fees remain non-refundable.

To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately at the email address provided on our website.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The information and services provided by Pharmacy Weight Loss Dumfries are intended to supplement, not replace, the advice of your GP or primary healthcare provider. We strongly recommend informing your GP of any medicines prescribed through our service.

We do not accept liability for adverse effects arising from inaccurate information provided during consultation. All clinical decisions are made in good faith based on the information you supply.

8. Data and Privacy

We handle all personal and medical data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is used solely to provide and improve our clinical services. We aim to respond to all data-related enquiries within 48 hours. Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
